Came with my two sons (aged 13 and 10) and had a blast. We tried the "Indisposed" Escape room and while we didn't succeed we had fun trying. The puzzles are approachable for the beginner to expert and the clue system (and occasional prompts from the friendly staff on the intercom) kept things moving at an enjoyable pace.

Have tried both rooms 'indisposed' and 'entombed' and we are looking forward to the third! Interesting themes and challenging puzzles, a lot of fun.

Will be back soon for the new room :) thanks guys
I did "Indisposed" back in January, and had a great time. I am now trying to organise another trip to give "Entombed" a shot with some of my friends. Great experience, I highly recommend it!

I did the Indisposed room back in March with a work event, and enjoyed it so much that I booked Entombed for a friend's birthday. I did both in a group of 4 and I think that was about right. It is so much fun and really has you thinking out of the box to try and work out the clues! Can't wait to come back and try the new room

I've done two rooms at Room Eight. Entombed was my 5th room in Sydney, and Indisposed was my 8th. Both rooms were really enjoyable with plenty of challenging, original puzzles, immersive theming and both included the owner's quirky sense of humour which I really appreciated and made the gameplay that much more fun! Both rooms are suitable for children. (Despite the pictures, Indisposed is far more 'humour' than 'horror').

Entombed: 'Indiana Jones' style thematics, the puzzles are a good mix of fun physical and spatial challenges, lock and key, coded padlocks, mechanical and environmental puzzles. Be prepared to work as a team, read everything carefully, and use the cryptic clues provided!
Indisposed: Starting off in the (gorgeously themed) outback dunny, this room also features a great mix of puzzles that the kids were able to get involved in. You will need to use several of your senses to escape this room, and definitely bring your lateral thinking skills and teamwork, as well as some extra lung capacity (you'll know what I mean if you've done this room!).
It's hard for me to say which room was better - in both rooms the theming was really spot on and both rooms had us laughing along the way. If you're looking for a room you can bring the kids to, either Entombed or Indisposed would be a great choice.
Room Eight also has an innovative hint system I've not seen anywhere else, and is, as far as I know, the first room in Sydney to offer hints in languages other than English. One of the better outfits in Sydney for Escape Rooms. Highly Recommended!
We loved it, my partner in crime and I have experienced 5 other venues and this was in our top 2 due to original style puzzles and how passionate the owner was and how he took the extra time to give us the background and information on professional teams that have also visited. We will be back to try the other rooms.
