Assassin in the Pub

Did the Pub room which is the hardest, coming from interstate it's good to see a different version of hard compared to Queensland. Staff was helpful with the clues and did our best to escape.

This was a great experience. Group of 4 Adults chose to do the Assassin in the Pub room. Was a lot of fun. The time goes super quick! Wouldn't do this room with more than 4 adults though... Bit squishy.

Played all the four rooms, really great experiences. Staff was very helpful, provided hints and allowed us finish the game even pass the palytime. Assasin the pub is the most challenging but most fun. Wizard amd bank are moderate difficulty and has a lot of great designs. Mission is great for new players.

Loved it, we did the Assassin in the pub one and it was actually pretty hard and was fun to try and figure it out.

It was a good experience. Being mostly newbies, we managed to solve the highest difficulty room there (assassin in the pub), albeit with quite a few clues and half an hour of additional time. The clues were creative and didn't take away the fun of discovery. Would recommend.

I went for my birthday last Saturday with my friends. We did the assassin in the pub and it was so much fun, very different from other escape rooms I have been to that were just a bunch of keys and locks, this one required a bit more brain power and I really enjoyed it, was difficult but we eventually got there and it was definitely a great escape room. Would recommend others to do this escape room too.

My friend and I did Assassin in the Pub the other night and had a great time. Definitely a challenging room but a lot of fun and we were lucky enough to have some extra time available to us so we could finish which was really satisfying haha. Our game master for the night was Rowan and they were amazing! Super friendly and really made sure we had a good night. Would definitely go back to try their other rooms!

I wasn't sure what to expect, but the room was awesome! We tried "Assassin in the Pub" and puzzles were so challenging but extremely fun! Loved how much detail they put into the room! Really helps with the immersion and theme! Highly recommend!

We did the Pub and it was one of the best room we've done! Challenging but so good. The Wizard Room is a lot of fun too!

We also love our game master for the night, he was so friendly and fun.

The escape hunt was so much fun, staff were lovely and I would not hesitate to go back again.

Our group did the Murder in the pub room. It was challenging but we got through it without needing any hints.

My friends and I completed the 'murder in the pub' room and had a great time solving it. I enjoyed the wide range of puzzles and getting a chance to really think outside the square. It was also interesting how involved everyone got as the clock ticked down closer to zero.

Our hostess was great and I'd love to go back and try another room in the future

Arranged a session in the 'Pub Room' with my partner and another couple.

The room was challenging ... but fun! The fit out was very intriguing ... like going into a mini movie set with basic furniture, fittings and odd clues here and there.

The young team at the The Escape Hunt in Sydney explained things well. They have a fun way of keeping touch with you to give hints by two way radio. They do not spoon feed you, but they didn't let us get unnecessarily stuck or lost either.

One of our group said that they were not good with clues and riddles. At the end of the exercise all four of us had contributed to the maze of clues and false clues.

Great day and worth the money.

I had never heard of escape rooms before but after this first experience, I will definitely be coming back. We played the Pubs room. There were plenty of mind challenging puzzles and the staff (Olga) was really helpful with clues. A must try for first time escape room players!

We did the Pub room as a couple. The puzzles were quite fun and relatively challenging. They progressed the room and story quite well. The room(s) were moderately small however and I struggle to think how more than three people could complete the room without constantly bumping into each other.

The theme and props of the room really set a great atmosphere. We also enjoyed being able to finish the room even though we went over time by a couple of minutes. The staff were incredibly helpful and made the experience great. They were quite busy however and only had 2 staff on.

We have Been to other great escapes. This one is definitely a mind challenge. We completed the "Pub Murder". The staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place

I went with my partner and had a blast! We did the Assassin in the Pub room. It was rated as the most difficult and I would have to agree! It was no walk in the park. We got to the final section and were going through the final clues when the time ran out. We finished the room when given an extra 5min and two hints. I doubt you could get through it in an hour without hints. With hints and an extra person we may have got there. If you are a couple and up for a challenge I would highly recommend. The secret doors were my favourite part!

For my 21st, I wanted a fun group activity for a large group of friends, where we did the hardest one there, 'Assassin in the Pub'. The staff was very kind, welcoming and helpful which made my birthday all the more better. Despite not finding a horror escape room big enough for my group in Sydney, we all really enjoyed it, with each person specializing in doing their thing while escaping; eg. good at finding things, good with theory, good at noticing small details, etc

A lot of content was available in the room, unlike others I've done before and provided a lot of puzzles to keep on top of. There was a wonderful backdrop to take our group photos after which the staff member Lisa took many for us, so thank you for everything and making it a great 21st birthday! <3

Spur of the moment decision last night to book us in for some escaping fun. There were not many spaces so ended up booking ourselves in for the “assassin at the pub” room, level 4. Took a good friend (her first escape room) and my 12yo daughter. We did much better than we thought. We could not finish in the allocated time, but Rowan kindly let us continue ..... because we were sooo close, and we managed to finish after another 15 minutes. Great venue, great puzzles and a nice team. Well be back :)

Had a fantastic first time. We got a hard room ( apparently The Pub is hard) but had great fun. Very well set up, lovely friendly helpful staff and really good puzzles. Nice touch with free tea coffee and biscuits and photos afterwards. Will definitely be back!!
