Read all reviewsI've done two rooms at Room Eight. Entombed was my 5th room in Sydney, and Indisposed was my 8th. Both rooms were really enjoyable with plenty of challenging, original puzzles, immersive theming and both included the owner's quirky sense of humour which I really appreciated and made the gameplay that much more fun! Both rooms are suitable for children. (Despite the pictures, Indisposed is far more 'humour' than 'horror').

Entombed: 'Indiana Jones' style thematics, the puzzles are a good mix of fun physical and spatial challenges, lock and key, coded padlocks, mechanical and environmental puzzles. Be prepared to work as a team, read everything carefully, and use the cryptic clues provided!
Indisposed: Starting off in the (gorgeously themed) outback dunny, this room also features a great mix of puzzles that the kids were able to get involved in. You will need to use several of your senses to escape this room, and definitely bring your lateral thinking skills and teamwork, as well as some extra lung capacity (you'll know what I mean if you've done this room!).
It's hard for me to say which room was better - in both rooms the theming was really spot on and both rooms had us laughing along the way. If you're looking for a room you can bring the kids to, either Entombed or Indisposed would be a great choice.
Room Eight also has an innovative hint system I've not seen anywhere else, and is, as far as I know, the first room in Sydney to offer hints in languages other than English. One of the better outfits in Sydney for Escape Rooms. Highly Recommended!
